blogness

this blog is to save your e-mail accounts any extra stress they may experience over the next two years. so please feel free to check in with me when you feel like it. a few times a year i may let you know that i am still some where in the middle of the pacific eating spam, wearing mumus, "teaching", and witnessing extreme beauty.

it has been 3 weeks and has felt like 3 months. there is much to say, but right now i am heading out to a chuukese wedding. you are all in my thoughts as i unlearn many things you have taught me, but hold on to what i know is real.

Hi Jess,
Hopefully you won't have to unlearn everything! Glad you are off to a good start. Do you need to use another language? How can you study it?
Best wishes on this new adventure.

Hi Sweetie,

Grandpa and I think of you often and hope things are going well for you. Also, two of our friends and Uncle Delbert are going to send donations to Jesuit International in your name.

Love, Grandma F.

Jessie - I think of you every single day. And I miss you more than the ocean is deep and the sky is wide.

School starts for me tomorrow - I stlll would really like to do the letter writing back and forth - If you want to do more than one per quarter let me know - I can totally fit it in.

I know that in your unlearning you are finding the truths of yourself and of this world. You are finding something of wisdom, something of frustration, and something of hardship. But you are strong. And I believe that even when you are unlearning, you still have a lot to give.

miss you.
